Worship at GraceLife

Our Worship service is designed to open your heart to the work of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

The Cross enabled Christ to become three things to you:

Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Jesus revealed that you cannot have a relationship with God unless these three things are at work in your life. Colossians 1:19 clarifies that in Christ the fullness of God dwells. If we want to know the fullness of God, we must come through Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ we are filled with the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:19)

He desires to impart to us His fullness, and that happens as He is our Way, our Truth and our Life.

I. Worship Christ as the Way

Through the death of Christ on the Cross, He provided the only way to the steadfast LOVE of God. The great barrier of your sins has been removed, and you have been justified, cleansed and sanctified through the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 1:30

• He became cursed for you. (Galatians 3:13)        
• Your sins were laid upon Him. (Hebrews 10:10-14)        
• You have forgiveness and relationship through the WAY provided by Jesus Christ! (Hebrews 10:20

 We celebrate this through the reading of Scriptures and Singing to the Lord.

II. Worship Christ as the Truth

Jesus Christ is the Logos or the Word of God. He is truth itself! He will judge all mankind on the basis of His Word! (John 12:48)

The Truth of Christ takes root in our spirit and brings the Justice of God’s design into our soul and body. We submit ourselves to God’s Word and its authority for our lives. We submit to the Holy Spirit to work the justice of the Word in our heart, soul and body

The Truth of God’s Word is exalted and preached to allow it to divide our soul and spirit, removing the worldly philosophies and sin that corrupts our spirit, and hinders the Justice (design) of God’s Word from being established in our heart, soul and body.

We celebrate this through the proclamation of God’s Word and dedicatory song.

III. Worship Christ as your Life

Jesus Christ overcame sin and death to become true Life for you, who once was enslaved to death and sin. Jesus Christ empowers the Righteousness of God for your life and service to God. Jesus Christ is your righteousness. Jesus Christ is your life! Jesus Christ becomes your victory as you learn to abide and rest in Him! (2 Timothy 1:10, Colossians 3:4, 1 Corinthians 15:57)

We celebrate our Life of victory and righteousness in Him through a commissioning word and song followed by an offering of gratitude for God’s grace!
